Problem is that E2004 has even more annoying bugs than Daylite. Simply infuriating that, after 3 years and undoubtedly countless notifications, the MacBU has not fixed them nor really improved the user experience.
Daylite, despite its numerous shortcomings is still pretty damn neat. Have used them both extensively over the past few years as they are the only 2 real options on the Mac for decent PIM. Can toleratate E2004 for about a week then run back to Daylite. The latter is in the process of being reworked to work with Sync Services.
