Buy anything else - Jason!
Your use of profanity is not only offensive, but it illustrates that you truly get what you deserve. I myself have purchased this software and found the developer to be more than friendly and more than helpful. You are obviously in need of psychological help. What's unfortunate is the poster has a valid complaint about the quirky licensing system (I was a bit annoyed myself when I had to put in for a new serial number, but I wasn't under deadline), but is so over the top in denouncing the product and developer, he's come off looking impatient and spiteful.Sunday, March 04 2007 @ 11:42 AM PST

sounds like a prefs permission problem - Krioni
It sound to me as if VueScan is unable to save the serial number. This is possibly due to a permissions problem on the pref file. Not sure where to look. I wonder if the complainer has actually asked Hamrick Software for help with this recurring problem. I would guess not, based on the attitude.Monday, March 05 2007 @ 09:39 PM PST
VueScan is the best! - lkrupp
This poster obviously rides the short bus to school and has no idea how to maintain his system. VueScan does NOT act in any way as the poster alleges. Every update downloads fine, launches fine, and performs excellently, as usual.Another possibility is that the poster is a shill for a competing product although I don't know anything that even comes close to VueScan.
