Those 'arrogant' ad agencies own the copyright in their stuff, not the client and certainly not you. It's often the only leverage they have to get their bills paid.
Believe me, there are any number of morally bankrupt clients who'll lie and cheat to get work for nothing - and using people with attitudes like yours is just one way. If you want to live in the jungle to get a quick buck, don't shout 'foul!' when you get eaten. That aside, it's a great app.
