Difficult? - Diks Toosl
I may well BE confused - it's happened before. However, ALL imported text is a very pale lavendar(?) which I cannot read against the page - and it is extremely annoying that for every text bit I add, I have to bring up the color wheel, select the text, and change it that way.
Since I have to do it EVERY TIME to be able to read (ie, use) anything I add, it becomes a burden pretty fast, as USING it involves adding to it A LOT. *That* makes not being able to tell it to stop, very annoying.
I'm sure it didn't do this when I first bought it.

Difficult? - Diks Toosl
That may be the pointThere seem to be no ways for me to tell Notebook what fonts & sizes & styles I want as defaults. I for one have spent much more time than I want changing the color of clipped text so that I can read it. This isn't just irritating, it's actually offensive, given that CoreText has greatly simplified implementing these controls in programs of all type.
I bought 2.4, and upgraded to 3.0. Given the annoyance of actually USING Notebook, I'll be open to an alternative.
