I have to upgrade? - starion

You think that's bad? I just bought Amadeus II less than 30 days ago. Stupid mistake. Now I get to pay $55 for a $40 product.

I kind of understand your frustration but on the other hand people should be paid for the hard work they put into products don't you think? $25 is not too much to pay for new features if you want them. You could also do what I do and stay with Amadeus II. I don't need all of those features I am sure given the fact that I only use Amadeus II perhaps 4 times a year. Cut the guy (I believe it is a guy) some slack.

It's not that I don't think someone should be paid for their efforts, it's that one shouldn't have to pay extra.

Most companies that I know of have a policy that if you've purchased their product within 30 days you qualify for the upgrade at no extra charge.

Considering that Amadeus II is just a subset of features of Amadeus Pro, I most certainly would have purchased it instead of Amadeus II.

Now instead of a satisfied customer, I am feeling screwed and am considering other alternatives to Amadeus.

You don't have to . . . .
But if you are into audio, and not into waiting . . .

Fork up the $25 for a great program!!
