Different than Grab - DonSL777

InstantShot has many more features and customizable preferences. My personal favorite is the ability to choose the number of seconds before a timed shot is taken. I also like the ability to choose the quality of the capture file.

What this does is put the icon in the bar at the top, so you don't have to remember the shortcut keystrekos (shift+command+4) or have the program in your dock and have to open it. it's a good program, useful for those who need to make screenshots. And yes, having the ability to save as a jpeg, choose the compression, and where you want the file saved is a big bonus.
