I have had nothing but success with MacGPS Pro. With the software's support for some Garmin and Magellan USB, it does not take a extra cable for connecting.
I don't understand this post at all. I have never experienced a pop-up window in the program. It has an excellent help menu. It has the typical OS X fonts, and I am glad that it gives me many features.
Your post is very confusing to me. You admit that you tried it for a day, and then got your full money back. What more can you ask from a software company? Geesh...
