Hey, I thought I'd give m2c on this....

The pricing they offer depends of what exactly the upgrade includes - if the scanner you are upgrading supports the Multi-Exposure feature, it costs an additional fee. As I understand it this feature varies in price for SE-Plus and Studio versions.
i.e.
You pay amount X for the upgrade within the same product family, and in some cases an additional fee for scanners and versions that include the Multi-Exposure function. Hence the price may differ from the mentioned one here.
