Dishonest developer - Fabro

I have always replied to my users, even to those complaining about the iSynCal 5 upgrade fee.

Anyway, I have explained the reasons leading me to this unpopular decision here:

Dishonest developer - DAH55--2008

I too wrote to the developer to complain about reneging on the stated terms of sale and in his reply he continued to defend his untenable decision to change the terms of sale after the sale had been made. I recently notified the distributer, Kagi, and apparently their communication had some effect. The developer wrote: "All customers which purchased an iSynCal license before 05 May 2005 have effectively received that "no upgrade fee" promise in their TFYP message. I have then tried to explain the reasons which lead me to change my mind...but I'm now tired to hear such complaints for a few dollars so all customers that purchased an iSynCal license before 05 May 2005 and still think I don't deserve an upgrade fee may just email me and I will send them a free upgrade license....iSynCal is not yet Leopard compatible...a new version will be relased soon, so please email me again when it will be released and I will send you a new serial for iSynCal 6." Based on his comments I think he still just doesn't get it, but I'll settle for receiving what was promised and steer clear of his products in the future. Thanks to Kagi for their assistance.
