No problem on my Intel iMac... Maybe the problem is not intrinsic to the update, or maybe it is, but not widespread. What is your hardware?

I have a similar problem and in my case this is the second Apple update that makes my SystemUIServer go berserk (100% CPU use, all other apps are unresponsive, I cannot use the computer). I have not found any HELPFUL hint on what to do about it and I will now need to reinstall the OS, again. And, yes, I am VERY knowledgeable with computers.
