fatal Error on Virtual Machine Monitor - ahsboy

I too had problems upgrading from 1970 to the new beta. The first time, I got the VM to launch, and was told to upgrade Parallels Tools. Initiating that upgrade, my mouse cursor froze, and even the clock in the Mac OS stopped ticking. No kernel panic, but I couldn't use the keyboard or mouse, and couldn't force quit.

After forcing my machine to reboot, I tried again...this time, the cursor froze while launching the VM. Clock ticked for a while, then stopped. It sounded like the hard drive was being accessed VERY slowly. But after 10 minutes with no clock updates, I simply rebooted and reverted back to 1970 version.

Take caution installing this update, especially if your use of Windows is essential. (Rolling back to 1970 version was successful, however).
