Other people (myself included) aren't having your problems with this product. Please stop YELLING and posting duplicate one-star ratings that aren't of any value here.

BETA VERSION, AND YOU SEE IT. - shopping

I didn't experience such problem at all. It imported over 2000 messages without tampering with Mail app or the keychain.

BETA VERSION, AND YOU SEE IT. - ecodoc

Slow but Ultimately sure !
In fairness to the original post, the import of emails IS somewhat slow and gives the impression of a hung application (accessing 1500 emails in Apple mail took a looooong time on a PB 17 in 1.67 10.3.9). This delay does not appear to occur in, for example CRM4MAC -which seems to have a more efficient 'import' engine.

I force quit the application twice to be sure that it had not crashed. There is no interface indication of how long to wait.

I can see/imagine that another user may well have interrupted the computer in a way that damaged some start-up file -- just speculating!

Version Tracker is a great democratic place for people to freely express their individual experience for others to consider on face value.

DevonThink has numerous fans, myself included, so much that I have already purchased the upgrade to the Beta version to support further development.

In my opinion nothing is gained by happy users of DevonPro asking unhappy users to 'calm down' and stop rating the product. Such opinion and rating 'management' will only give the product a bad reputation.

It is a unique product that stands on it strengths and merit. Those that disagree should also be welcome to the house of Devon.

No doubt these are interface issues and the development team will iron these out. I sure hope so, because I have already paid for the upgrade, but would continue to use the product despite its imperfections.

Peace and Patience People !!!

You seriously need to run Disk Utility. I had a friend who was having mysterious Keychain problems (among other odd stuff) and Disk Utility found an unfixable (to it) disk problem. Disk Warrior did, however, fix it.
