Senuti is an excellent tool for copying music from an iPod, and would work perfectly if you just wanted to copy one playlist.

I went to the website for Music Rescue and found the contact info from the developers by clicking: About Us -> Staff -> Contact Us. Pretty simple.

If I accidentally deleted a playlist from iTunes on my Mac I would retrieve it from my backup rather than my iPod.
