No, you don't. Email works best when it is plain text. If you use html or xml formatting, you are abusing the medium, and probably not getting your message across as well either. While I agree that many users cannot receive HTML emails it is rapidly becoming the standard.I prefer to send an HTML email with a "If you can't read this click here" link to a version on the web.
I am looking for a way to create HTML email templates that staff with no HTML skills can use to send emails.
