VNC is still a no-go. I was originally connecting to a Mac OSX server w/Remote Desktop activated, but today after reading your post, I tried connecting to a Windows 2003 server which works fine with Chicken of the VNC. TSclient v110 cannot connect to it either. The error window opens immediately with the only options being [cancel] and [gtk-connect] which when clicked, takes one back to the error window. On the Mac server, I turned off Apple Remote Desktop (Sharing preference)and launched VNC via OSXvnc v.171 application. This time the password window opened, and after entering the password, the remote system flashed onto the screen for a fraction of a second and immediately disappeared. I've checked firewall ports, display numbers, etc. on all systems.
