"Whiners"?!?! - Hal Itosis

Well... you weren't "using and depending" on version 9 for the past 3 weeks.
Because neither you nor anyone else could launch it! Beta 12 croaked on (or
before) 30 Sept... and beta 13 was only available to the public today.

What if Photoshop, or QuickBooks, or iTunes stopped working for 3 weeks?
What if everyone who paid for version "9" had to revert back to version "8" ?

Should folks not protest... or at least question the developer's policy? I'm sorry but...
your one-sided comments about legitimate complaints are what I'd consider "whiney".

Well... when I called 2 weeks ago I got a recording. So I left a polite message
about beta 12's expiration, and nothing was done... until today.

There seems to be a time-lapse in your account of things.

That's some accident - brian163

Yeah, this comment is a serious heap of crap. I wrote the author weeks ago when b12 died and no one has responded to date. Maybe he was in a coma. Maybe he's Rip Van Winkle. See? Anyone can make up excuses as dumb as this explanation. Why even try to cover the mistake? He screwed with a bunch of paying customers that expected better. Leave it at that, apologize, and start working on beta 14-29 so this doesn't happen again. Or, try releasing a non-expiring beta for a change.
