Hi There,

This is actually a free upgrade for all Drive Genius License holders... If you need "only" the application, you can indeed update that for free... Most likely though, you will want/need new boot CDs (you need to use the boot CDs whenever you want to use Drive Genius on the boot drive).

This new version requires a new serial number and includes boot CDs for both PPC and Intel-based Macs. Current Drive Genius owners can purchase this Universal Binary update for $10 directly from from our online store by going to http://www.prosofteng.com/products/drive_genius_userial.php. With your $10 purchase you will receive the following:

1. New Serial Number
2. One Boot CD for PPC-based Macs and One Boot CD for Intel-based Macs will be shipped to you.
3. In your email receipt, you will also receive download links for both boot CDs so that you may download and make your own bootable CDs immediately.

$10 charge is total price including shipping (there may be sales tax if you reside in California).
