way too expensive - Donal Briard

You don't understand what this application does. It transforms your Mac (laptop, preferably) into a field monitor. Final Cut has no such ability. $129 is very cheap compared to $2,000 or more for a real field monitor.

I hope the programmer can support HDV soon.

Final Cut Pro's capture window does allow for live video scopes. This is far more helpful than zebras. I would buy this product if it had video scopes.

Final Cut Pro does not show live video during capture. The cost is very reasonable when you consider that a dedicated field monitor will cost about $4000 and still won't provide all the functionality of DV Monitor.

On top of that a dedicated field monitor requires power and that can be a huge issue when shooting on location.
