License Key & Pref Complexity - gmjm

- License Key -
GC can be used for FREE and in its ENTIRETY without buying a license. Just wait a few seconds. It is the only full-featured free software that I know of. I use it a lot and didn't want to wait each time, so I registered it many years ago, and it is still a valid license. If you are a bit short on pocket change, keep it up and running and access it from your Dock.

- Pref Complexity -
Yes, I will agree that GC is highly configurable and the preferences can be quite daunting, but the defaults work perfectly fine as they are. You are not required to go into preferences and tweak every little parameter. Only once did I do any serious pref tweaking, and that was for a specific project for a Windows-only usin' company and they still had arcane and ancient image file requirements. Altering the prefs sped things up. I wouldn't do such changes in preferences for single instances.

Old License Works - gmjm

I re-entered my original license and upgrade codes, and it works fine. Perhaps they changed the way the software accesses their preference files.

If you lost your registration information, you can email Lemke Software with your email address used to register it, and they will be glad to send you the codes.

In my rare few dealings with Lemke Software, they have always been very friendly and prompt. Email them with your issues rather than blindly spouting off because you were too impatient.
