Beware discount offer - nrowe46
I own Toast 7.0 with a valid cd key. When I down load Toast 7.1, the directions ask that I move the icon for 7.1 to the Toast folder and when asked to replace, to do it. I have done this several times. When I attempt to open the application, I'm asked for the cd key. I put in the one one I have (which works with 7.0) and the continue button never lights up. I have contacted Roxio and after much frustration they offer to send me a new cd key if I have proof of purchase. I can not find it. I'm staying with Toast 7.0 for now.Saturday, November 11 2006 @ 11:31 AM PST
Beware discount offer - gslusher
"Roxio offers but doesn't deliver a competitive/previous users rebate for this new version from old versions of their product or from competitive products."Interesing. That's how I got Toast 6 and 7, starting from Toast 5.
"Previous users' registration and on line purchase proof information is being rejected as unprovable and they (according to their website) also reject some store bought purchases where proof of purchase from specific stores is provided. I find this outrageous."
Do you mean "users" or one "user" (i.e., yourself)? Writing "users" says that you are certain that more than one person has had this problem. Write only what you know, rather than generalizing from one experience in an attempt to puff up the problem.
"Second the company is difficult to contact and does not respond to email or contact through their website."
They've responded to several questions I've submitted. Again, if they didn't respond to your questions, make that clear, rather than generalizing.
