The most likely cause of this problem is that there is some kind of bandwidth problem on your network. Do you have a large number of cameras, or a lot of other traffic on the same network?

If this isn't the issue, then it might be that your Mac is struggling to keep up with the workload placed on it. How many cameras do you have connected, and what Mac are you using? If this is a performance issue, it might help to turn off or reduce the length of your pre-capture, as this feature requires SecuritySpy to maintain a buffer of video from each camera.

Motion Detection - choppy video - smokemc

I am using the trial version 1.3.1 with my mac G5 dual 2 ghz power pc and wannt to use it with my apple airport using a wireless outdoor camera but can not find a wireless camera to use. Do you have any suggestions on what and where i can buy a camera.
