i'd say thats what many people would use bootcamp for... otherwise you can just use paralells or soon VMware... dual boot is very much about games.

GAMES: I am playing Halflife2 on my Macbook / XP and nobody with a PC laptop can beat my Grafic Performance! Two Thumbs up! Bad side: my little neffew does not like his PC anymore - so he's now always using my MAC to play PC games....

In my opinion, this is only designed for games. Most other things do not need 3D acceleration and can therefore be used with Parallels. It is always the fastest gaming machine in the group of laptops I play with.

Uhhh... - Sonfps

All boot camp does is partition the drive and give you drivers, other than that its just regular windows. Its made for anything including games. I have a new 24 inch iMac and installed boot camp simply for playing PC games. I installed Battlefield 2142 and it runs incredible with everything turned up.
