Why no support for the S710a? - chris_sfo
As previously indicated, it already syncs, no problem. This is to add support for their latest phones, not old ones.Tuesday, July 11 2006 @ 12:49 AM PDT

I can assure you in some cases iSync and the S710a do NOT work together properly. If you have more address book entries than the S710 will hold (about 520 or so) and you use address book groups to filter it down to just what you want on your cellphone and tell iSync to only sync that group to your phone, you will see the following problems:
1) contacts added to address book, then added to the 'cellphone' group, will often not appear on the phone until after 2 or more sync sessions have passed.
2) contacts added on your phone will be copied to your address book, but be placed in the general contact pool and NOT designated as part of your 'cellphone' group for synching - upon subsequent sync sessions that number will be seen as having been removed from the target sync group in address book, and be removed from your phone. This one is SUPREMELY annoying.
3) if you use "last, first" name organization, you must enter the comma between the two when you title the contact on the phone (i.e. on the phone enter Smith, John not Smith John) or the title will not transfer correctly.

Why no support for the S710a? - Chris H
probably because iSync has support natively for the s710a. As soon as I got my phone I was syncing away with isync. No problems at all for my s710a.Reply to This
