Aha! FernDave's hack brings PithHelmet back to life w/ OS 10.4.7 - nnager
Forgot to mention that I used TextEdit to open the "info.plist file." I was initially stumped when clicking on "info.plist file" didn't do anything. Once TextEdit opened the file , all I had to do was do a Command-F find of MaxBundleVersion and type in its place 420.Tuesday, June 27 2006 @ 08:34 PM PDT

This worked great for me. Thanks for the tip. It's amazing how much you miss this plugin when it breaks.Wednesday, June 28 2006 @ 07:08 AM PDT

Wow, it did work, but I almost backed out when I did a find on MaxBundleVersion and came up with two different places, the 417 and a second one in the 500's. I finally got brave and changed the 417 to 420 and luckily, it worked for me.Yeah, I'm done updating the OS until this plugin gets updated. I forget how out of control websites have become until I try to read a news article with cartoons and movies playing all around me.
My eyes and brain thank you for this mindsaver.

There are actually four instances of MaxBundleVersion: 417, 412, 520, and 460. As trebory points out, changing 417 to 420 works. I haven't tried changing the others to 420 instead to see what would happen.Friday, June 30 2006 @ 10:13 AM PDT
