Nice idea, anemic in execution - blizzaster

Mr. Sniffles, take a look at Curio. It does exactly what you are describing, and does it extremely well. I WAS looking at Yojimbo for certain kinds of records, because Curio was losing speed on heavy databases. No more. A recent update has made it blazing fast on my heaviest stuff. Yojimbo is going to have to do a LOT more to even get in the same league.

Try iOrganize. It allows you to store images, sounds, text. I use it for my web development projects, and although it's not perfect, it does what I need it to do.

Thanks! I'll give both of those a spin.
I just DLed Curio, and it's much better, and exactly what I've been looking for.

I'll give iOrganize a look too.

Nice idea, anemic in execution - Citizen B

Hello,
I have also been searching for a while a comfortable and well designed tool to handle my projects, my To Dos etc...and supporting most of the multi media types. I finally adopted Journler which suits totally my needs. Very well designed, very intuitive, very rare since it gives the chance to maintain (as often) classic folders and sub folders but, also, smart folders and sub smart folders (which is very rare !!). In addition, it provides a quite complete handling of meta data such as categories, key words etc...Very useful to organize the library and its related folders. No specific interest with this small team (Journler is a free/donation ware) but I am convinced it is worth to look at it.
Sincerely
