I checked with SmileOnMyMac support, and they confirm that TextExpander conflicts with CopyPaste even when the yType (text replacement) feature is turned off, and express uncertainty as to whether the conflict can be fixed. I rely so heavily on CopyPaste that I won't even bother to turn it off to try TextExpander. I'd like the ability to insert graphics with a mnemonic set of keys, but that's not enough to woo me away from CopyPaste.
If they can fix this conflict, I'd like to try the product, but not before then.
