It does indeed--like other APE-based hacks and utilities, it destabilizes your system and makes it prone to software conflicts and incompatibilities.

Service Scrubber has no such drawbacks.

No it doesn't - Central Scrutinizer--2008

IceCoffee puts a CM link to services, and lets you customize which services show up in the CM. It does nothing to change the services listed in the application services menu.

Avoid APE - screwversiontracker

Every time I installed APE, it corrupted my system. I wouldn't touch APE with a 10 foot pole.
