Prior Pro Users Beware - See Warning below - Swift2

That's been true since 7.0. What's the difference?

No difference from any of the 7.0.x updates of QT.
It has been this way with each of the full number upgrades of QuickTime.

QuickTime 5 Pro key did not work for QT ver 6, needed to repurchase Pro key.
QuickTime 6 Pro key does not work for QT ver 7, need to repurchase Pro key for full pro functionality.

So this has been true of all the QT 7.0.x updates, and still same for 7.1.x etc.
I think Apple has gotten more forthcoming about warning of this because there were a lot more complaints from people who thought their ver 6 Pro key should work when they upgraded QT to version 7.x.x .

(Ok, me too, I'd hope that you wouldn't have to 'rebuy' Pro each version number upgrade... but I'm not belaboring that point in this post now.)

For all clarity: the QT 7 Pro key I bought for version 7.0 still works fine with QT 7.1.
