Password Promt - jbirdski

You my friend are what educated patrons of the Macintosh call mentally deficient. There was no installer for this simply a disk image that you double clicked and mounted. There was no reason what so ever for it to ask for authentication when you simply drag the application from the mounted disk image to your Applications folder.

Password Prompt - COOLFACTOR

Authentication is only required when files are being stored or modified in restricted areas of your system. Anything within your Home folder is, by default, open to you without requiring additional privileges. You can also install applications into the Applications folder without a password, as an example.
