Because software is free does not make it devoid of criticism. If that were the case, then everything free would be worthless, which it is not. Criticism of products help improve their quality, whether they be free or cost money. Furthermore, to get basic functions like keypad support, money is being asked for through the Emulator Enhancer plug-in. Finally, while these emulators that Richard provides are mostly amazing (minus the above mentioned continual downloading) they are ports and so while they should be given credit for being ported, they were not built from the ground up, thus making them more the communities because they aren't the "programmers child".
