There was obviously a problem before you ran PSR - John Goodchild

Why would you run PSR if you didn't have a problem? The reset function does NOT remove any files that prevent future printing. If you read the online manual, you will see a list of the files that ARE removed. Resetting the printing system does not remove any files related to any Inkjet Printer Utility.

I don't believe that it is entirely fair to tell others not to buy a product that was unable to repair YOUR problem. Printer Setup Repair has successfully repaired the printing systems for thousands of users over many years. It is recommended as a troubleshooting tool by many leading printer manufacturers, and Mac OS X technical web sites.

You've got to be kidding me... - freemanjoy

So you downloaded a trial version that explicitly tells you how much longer the trial period lasts each time you open it; you reset your system after an explicit warning to back up first; and then, knowing your problem wasn't fixed, you left town until the trial period was over without restoring to backup? And now you're so irked that you're out to do as much harm as possible to the developer?

But...I want to thank you. Your comment was so patently unfair that it made me even quicker to download and try this software. I was able to fix, in under an hour (would have been quicker but I'm the cautious type; I read the manual and took my time), a printing problem that I'd been working around for a month and that had eaten probably 12 hours of my time in researching and troubleshooting. This product DOES fix problems. It just won't fix your problem--that urge to blame everybody else for your own mistakes.

I'm a cheapskate normally, but I'll be registering this product today--best $25 I can think of spending...

Ridiculous - Meister Fritz

This comment is one of the most moronic I've read in recent times. It smacks of an "entitlement" complex when the user is unwilling to pay the shareware fee.

Also, the user lacks the ability to apply deductive reasoning. He is making an unsupported assumption that his concerns relate to a specific area, despite the lack of thorough and logical testing.

I have used the program extensively and it has never failed.

Ludicrously Lame - MAC_1984

Utterly useless post and rating from someone who has no conception of shareware.

I must concur with the highly intelligent posters who have already commented on your rant. You sir are a dufus who shouldn't be allowed to own a Mac much less try to fix one. Please leave such problems as require a degree of technical savvy and logical thought processes to the adults in your family. Is your mommy home?

The question remains...you MORONS...since you seem to like to call people names I guess I can do the same thing: Why was the printing system completely unusable AFTER using this when it wasn't before?

As for the comment about no concept of shareware, I disagree. I simply don't believe in crippleware that won't allow you to restore something it backed up unless you pay someone money for it. Fine buy it if you want it, but DON'T make it impossible to restore a backup UNLESS I pay for it, that's just idiotic.

The fact remains that it screwed up the printing system without the ability to get it restored. So you can kiss my big you know what people.

This is a great program.

You didn't buy it. That was the problem. Nobody should run a program on their computer and not stick around and use it to test it, especially if it's a demo that you know (if you read the documentation) will expire! That's a bad decision on your part. I and so many others on this forum paid for this great app and are thrilled with the results.

DO BUY THIS PROGRAM! IT'S EXCELLENT!
