Thanks for your comments. You seem to have two main issues:

1) Screen Saver only
This will be available in the next version.

2) Other menu icon
a) You can change the icon yourself - there is a grey one provided in the iCalViewer.com downloads page.
b) Other options are being considered for a future release...
