Works fine for me. - mmmgood

Seems unlikely that something that trivial would be broken in two separate versions. Anything that could be interfering with it?

Keyboard scrolling doesn't work - WoodyO1

I suspect it works for anyone with a healthy Mac.

Keyboard scrolling doesn't work - drc

Keyboard scrolling on FF works OK on my Powerbook (10.4.6).
So does next-screen-with-spacebar.
So does scroll-with-2-fingers-on-trackpad.

Keyboard scrolling doesn't work - Notary Sojac

Just so you don't feel like you're getting singled out, Denny, for us Firefox lost keyboard navigation on both of our PowerBooks when we updated to 1.5. The spacebar does nothing, Fn-arrow keys do nothing and the only extension we have installed on our 'Books is AdBlock Plus.

I was ticked enough when the Firefox team on purpose removed the ability for up & down arrow to take you to the start and end of a text field and replaced it with a two-key version: Apple-left arrow and Apple-right arrow, making it a two-handed command for PowerBook owners with only one Apple-key. No big deal unless you are like us and always have one hand on your mouse or stuck under your cat.

Ditto for me too. Am running OS 10.2.8.

In v. 1.5.0.1, I had issues with autofill. After typing one character, if I didn't select a previous word and continued to type, FF would hang up. The cursor would turn into the spinning colored beach ball. Had to hit force quit. Switching to v. 1.5.0.2 fixed that issue. One step forward.

After switching to 1.5.0.2, I can no longer read my Netscape e-mail. When I click on a message, the message appears to loading. However, when it's "done" loading, I see nothing but a blank white window. Only the Netscape footer shows. One step back.

Scroll Bar Glitch Partly Solved.... - mrgenki

I have no idea why I'm also experiencing problems with Firefox's scroll bar, too, but I unintentionally discovered a way around this glitch.

Up until 5 minutes ago, I had just an up arrow at the BOTTOM of my scroll bar and no down arrow. Like you, I had to click (the bar) and hold down the mouse for scrolling.

Anyway, I did a search on the Net for a solution to the problem, and discovered your post. Since your post was not directly at the top of my screen, I did a search for the word "scroll" (Apple key + F) and shazam my scroll bar suddenly had up & down arrows.

Try that, then. Do a search for any word on any page, and I think you'll get the same results.

Incidentally, my arrow keys and space bar have no control over the scroll bar, either. If I ever find a solution, I'll post again.

(I'm using an eMac with System 10.3.9 & 10.4.7)

Keyboard scrolling doesn't work - kamoroso

I found that if you turn on your Status toolbar (View > Status bar) your up and down arrows on the scrollbar will appear.
