If you're in a real bind, there's a Classic app that will convert MacIE web archives into iCab web archives (which are standard .zip files, so it's easy to get at the content even if you don't use iCab): <http://www.icab.de/download4.html>

Sorry about taking so long to acknowledge the suggestion. I've looked into it a little bit and it seems like a fairly straightforward task. I'll try to get support in for those this month.
