Hangs on startup, black screen - FourthWorld

The previous version was much more stable. This one throws the "Bad polygon error" whenever I fire, and after creating a new user it won't let me select "New Game".

Is the previous build available?

The previous build is not available, and am not able to fix this one for the Mac as I don't own a Mac, can't afford one, and the 700 or so Mac D2X-XL users do not care enough to donate a few bucks so that I could afford one and get this thing really going for OS X. So all you can do is install a compiler, get the source code, compile it, run it through a debugger and see what's going wrong. If half of you would donate 5 bucks (which probably wouldn't kill you) that would make 2.1K USD - enough for a new Mac - but well, it's your money, and it's just a dang old game. :P

I managed to find the previous build so I'm back in the game.

I also donated US$50 to the effort. It's moving in a good direction, and I'm happy to contribute to see it completed.
