Do not install on Intel Macs! - FredoZ
Unfortunately I had to find out the worse way on my iMac Intel. However, after running Safari under Rosetta, I have recovered the Flash visual capabilities, but not the sound. I really would appreciate any help with this, since now I seem to be so close.Thursday, March 16 2006 @ 02:36 AM PST

Re-starting Safari with Rosetta checked restores the visual part of Flash, but not the sound. Anyone know how to get the sound part going? Or a best way to get Flash to behave normal again?Friday, March 17 2006 @ 10:22 AM PST

To get the sound working again: Very Weird, but simple. Open the Aplication Garageband and produce some sound with for instance the piano. Close the app and the sound of your flash player is back again. (I run safari in Rosetta mode)Its a strange bug fixer, but it worked for me.

A warning? They should make the installer refuse to install on an Intel Mac.Reply to This
