Quicktime 7.0.4 severe problems - partomb

I have the same exact problem! I know everyone is responding with the standard, "go to the quicktime folder in the start menu", but it doesn't work.

It won't uninstall...period. The iTunes Installer can't remove it, the new ver. of Quicktime Installer can't, and neither can the Control Panel Add/Remove section.

I, too, am without iTunes right now. Has no one figured this out?
