6 updates in 8 days??? - weasel-boy
I am quite aware of what this software will and won't do. I have watched for a few months while this software has been updated on a continuous basis. Many of these bugs were brutal show stoppers. So let's get real about the glowing reviews that came in while this program was underfeatured and overpriced and barely working. You will notice that I had presence of mind not to lower the Star rating. What the main point of this comment was about is the constant updates showing up on Version Tracker. I don't care how dilligent the developer is...his release cycling is unfair to other developers posting products here. Posting a release almost daily gives the appearance of either sloppy coding or a cheap ploy to keep the product "advertised" No one here posts as many fixes as this guy has been doing....right up until I mentioned it. Get it?Thursday, March 16 2006 @ 08:49 PM PST

I've never taken the time to post a comment on VT before but I have to say that it sounds like weasel-boy has never tried the software and judging from all of his prior comments just likes to complain. I would take his feedback with a grain of salt.As far as Boom Recorder goes, there is only one other product of its kind that I know of and the price point of Boom Recorder is great. I applaude the developer for his efforts.

Interesting comments from someone that apparently would rather take time to complain about something he didn't know anything about than try it and then make an assessment. For your information, most of the revisions come from user recommendations and requests. Take is kind enough to implement those requests at an incredible pace. His clientele, I'm sure, are most appreciative as I am. I do own Boom recorder and use it in the field. It has performed flawlessly and I continue with the updates since they benefit all those that utilize the software as it is intended. At least investigate rather than denegrate something before you render an opinion. It may, perhaps, increase the validity of your statements.Kindest Regards,
