I hate it when software developers put this crap in their software. CD spin doctor does it as well. I have to go in and delete it every time. I use the comments field for smart playlist and should not have to go in and delete useless text the developer puts there for god knows why. For this reason I will NOT be buying this software as I had planned. I do not feel I should have to spend my time deleting the comments. I hope the developer reads this and takes automatic comment text out!!

Hello. You wouldn't consider making that tweaked freeware script available to a fellow heavy comments field user, who is now in serious panic mode about the prospect of having to manually edit 8000+ songs?

I have the same problem with the 'comment' string. Theissman, it would be very nice, if You could share this applescript wich can delete these iVolume entries.
