Trial could be improved - Stewie1

I'm not sure if it's necessary to have the menu come up instantaneously. For the shorcuts that you learn, you probably don't want the menu all the time. But I agree the trial is a little ridiculous, it shows all shortcuts for the first 10 uses, then shows "????" for most of them. I used it up in a few minutes of testing. I should still be able to decide if I want to buy it -- I'm leaning towards buying right now -- but I don't see why the trial shouldn't be easier.

Good idea, frustrating trial - Ward44

I've had KeyCue running in trial mode for nearly 3 months. The "use it 10 times" trial mode is reset at each Restart of Mac OS X. Since I usually go days or occasionally weeks without restarting, I have long since used up my quota of 10 (by hesitating too long with the finger on the command key) before I really want to see the full list of shortcuts.

If KeyCue had a more conventional 15-to-30-day trial, I might have been sold by now. As is, I've not really been able to do more than play with it. I need to use it for real before deducting $15 from my software budget.

I think I increase the delay time and see if I can actually use KeyCue to respond to a real-world need, e.g., checking current shortcuts before adding a new one with Unsanity's Menu Master (a fabulous $10 addition to OS X menus).
