1) The Khmer Rouge came to power in Cambodia because the US dropped more bombs on Cambodia (a defenseless peasant society) than were dropped by the allies collectively in the whole of WW2.
2) There was no bloodbath after the US pulled out of Vietnam. Where's your evidence for that? The death tolls during, and immediately after the war bear no comparison.
