I can't say why it won't open on your Mac but I have had no trouble with it here and haven't ever. Not on 10.3.9, 10.4.2, 10.4.3 nor 10.4.4. What have you done about troubleshooting your problem? People should be able to figure out whether your experience is relevant to them by using the trial. What features are missing? Have you posted at the developer's forum for feature requests? This app works great, giving high quality compression very very fast. It allows the selection and omission of various DVD features and the joining of multiple episodes of your favorite cartoon DVDs into one DVD compilation. It's probably as fully featured as most users need or want. I personally believe anyone interested in compressing DVDs shold definitely look at this. It should be pointed out that the majority of negative posters for this version are people who used a previous version and don't want to pay for the upgrade, which is a reasonable decision, but not by itself a reason to say this app is no good, and completely irrelevant to new users. The early crashing issues on 10.3 were quickly resolved. My advice is to ignore this post and his rating and try it for yourself. What is "flammed"??? Perhaps you meant to say "flamed", which is probably the result of your hysterical frothing which is disputed by the experiences of those who respond and who don't want to see you bashing what is to them a fine app.

I did pay for this program .... and it works fine for me and many others.
Just wondering ..... maybe u don't know shit about computers.
Doesn't matter what u give to some ppl. they screw everything up .... hey maybe ur one of those.
Want some advice ..... stay of computers .... buy urself a typewriter !!!!!

sorry that I have to second to that! While 2.01 is still working 2.02 and now 2.03 do the same as described: quit immediately. What a junk!!!
I was certain that the author would correctz this bug!
(10.4.4, PB G3) What a drag he did not - I payed for Version 2 (as well as for Version 1.x!!!)
