Yeah... what do you expect? Skype is now an eBay company. Did you ever try to contact eBay? I protested with Skype when they just sucked my balance without sending any notice about the “expiry date.” This is the Internet age: ZERO customer service with no way to contact customer support.

I had like a $9 balance that just vanished from my Skype account one day. No warning or explanation. I didn't bother to complain about it because I found the actual Skype to phone service pretty unusable because no one could understand me (I have broadband) and when someone tried it the other way, calling me I could barely understand them. The skype to skype calling works just fine, and it's free so I just leave it at that. But yeah, they stole $9 from me.
