Yeah I sure love it when they have these crappy streaming videos and then have way through it starts "buffering" and just dies. NEVER has that happened with quicktime.

WMP is BETTER than QuickTime Player - Aikousha

Nothing wrong with it? Microsoft has made 3 new codec types that XP users are pretty much either forced or enticed into using on their side, since the las Mac update was made available. These are not available for playing on the mMac, even though somebody said it would.

There is not a single WMV3 or WMV9 based file I have access to (and I have literally tried hundreds) That will play under this version of the player.

Microsoft has made NO effort to support these codecs on the Mac side. No updates for nearly 3 years on this.... Hell you should see how old IE is for the mac... No Unicode support.... Hell I could go on and on.

You poor poor moron.... - mmsomekid

I feel so sorry for you. If you really think that stalled buffers and the inability to fast forward and rewind is better than a little bitty button in the toolbar saying register, then you should seriously get some help. It's not like a big window pops up every time you launch saying please register. The free Quicktime is much much better than WMP. I would rather have a good product that says register up in the corner, and has a few video editing features disabled (that aren't available on WMP at all) than have a product that is as crappily assembled as WMP. Quicktime is a lot better. Period. Enogh said....
