Is there ever a stable version of this product? - foaf

Are you having specific issues that lead you to believe that the product isn't stable? If not, then the specific bugfixes are irrelevant to you-- don't sweat it. If so, then you should be pleased that the developer is working so hard to resolve the issues you are experiencing.

'Scienceman2' has a valid point - when I look at the release list in VT here, there are almost no non-'b' (beta) or non-'a' (?) releases. So one is left believing that there are very few stable 'final release' or 'golden master' or however the official non-beta is to be identified. (Unless I am missing something about whatever cryptic release system TAO uses.)
Made more confusing by fact that version notes indicate frequent feature additions along with bug fixes in each of the 'b' beta versions.

And 'foaf' you also have a valid point - yes, I love the fact that the developer is in active development on the project, fixing bugs and adding features. Would that some commercial products were as active.

I guess it would just meet my software release concept/expectations if there were occasional non-betas, that we could look to as stable points.
(This is just my opinion -- perhaps I am feeling too adrift in my life these days... but thats another story... ;-)
