not that great - bakari

I have to agree. I tried the same three resolution sizes and got the same results. Plus, there seems no way to convert the recording to another image format like QuickTime. So end receivers will have to download Flash Player 8 to see the movies. I like the idea of this app and hope see it improve in future updates. Not quite worth the current price.

Reponse to above - leefalin

The quality slider sets the frequency of key frame usage in the encoding. There are a couple of reasons why this may or may not have a dramatic effect on your file size. To understand how the quality slider works take a look at our FAQ page: http://www.polarian.com/faq.php

Flash Player Requirements - leefalin

Actually end receivers only need Flash Player 7 or higher. Which according to this survey is already available in 91% of US and 93% of European internet users. Where as QuickTime, (according to this survey) has only a 66% penetration. Now of course this comes from Macromedia so there is obviously a reason to bias so take this (and all statistics) with a grain of salt.
