I got a page full of gibberish on two attempts to download from versiontracker.com's download site, but was able to download without problem from <http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox>

So far, everything's working well.

Agreed. The link on <http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox> was also gibberish. I downloaded the gibberish file, changed the extension from "dmg.html" to "dmg", and all was fine.

If you command-click the link, the dmg should download properly. At least, it works in 1.0.7.
