I was able to fix it by uninstalling and re-installing the VPN client. The odd thing is that it has affected 2 different machines that are setup quite differently. Glad it works, but you may need to do some work to get it working.Monday, October 31 2005 @ 08:08 PM PST

I experienced difficulty on two machines, one a PowerMac G4 and the other a 1.67 GHz 15" Powerbook. Both were unable to connect and access SMB servers over the VPN with Cisco client 4.7.00.0510 and Mac OS X 10.4.3. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the VPN software, to no avail. Uninstalling and installing 4.6.04.0061 allows SMB access, but I assume that we will be unable to access the VPN from Classic mode, since that was a problem fixed in 4.7.00.0510.Thursday, November 03 2005 @ 11:27 AM PST
