Bad App - Koingo Software
It is not possible to set wake events on the fly. You MUST use the Power Manager. To edit the actual Power Manager on the Mac OS, it requires an Administration password. Unless you want to enter it every single time you wish to set an alarm, this feature will never be available. It is possible to maximize the system volume in most every previous version of Alarm Clock Pro, and do the same for iTunes. Just visit the Preferences window and the Setup button for the event you chose in the Edit Alarm window. Turning both of these settings on to change the volume will ensure your system is at maximum volume as well as iTunes.
Some people, like you, don't read the documentation and are complaining they don't know how to close it. Control-click to close the window via contextual menus was how to do it, and it will continue to also support that option.
