Actually, it will save to mp3, you just have to install a file from Apple first (you can find the info and the link to the Apple file in the .pdf manual someplace).

Actually, it will read/write mp3's - you just have to install the FREE support package. I do not remember the link but it and the instructions are in the documentation.
